In our lifetime or projecting into the future we wish to do good wisely so we have now to learn and to establish the direction of Finca Xocolata and legally ensure progressive administration and protective measures for environmentally friendly precaution.
Within 58 hectares of property, our first sustainable project utilizing 4 hectares of cacao trees is the creation of gourmet chocolates and bars that have been proven themselves to be a lucrative product worthy of future production on a larger scale.
We at present are in process of reforesting 25 hectares of our property with indigenous fruit and hardwood trees. We foresee progress in the near future towards utilizing permaculture practices included in organic sustainable agriculture such as more cultivated cacao, vanilla, sugar cane, citrus, honey producers, cashews, coffee, suita palm, extensive greenhouses established to provide vegetables all year round, and a nursery for rare hardwoods.
Our goals are towards a sustainable community including our surrounding community that aims towards new skill development amidst the local work force. Our other objective is to promote diverse cultivation of marketable products among our local farmers.
We see seven timeshare luxury homes and a small healing centre plus six mini-suites and full spa with pool in the future that will be under legal obligation during construction and landscaping to ensure ecological compatibility with the environment surrounding.
With the maturation of our newly planted vanilla, sugar cane, cashew and cinnamon as well as our diverse varieties of cacao trees; we would like to establish a most wonderful tourist destination of an established cacao farm showing all the stages of the process of making chocolate.
In pursuit of grant monies, our hearts' passion would for the establishment in the future of a permanent biological station for study groups, volunteers and researchers.
We also see our property as a perfect place to recuperate as a wildlife habitat.
Thus far we are self-sufficient in our beginning and are working hard towards a community beneficial, lucrative business.
